  The last 23 years of my life has been devoted to learning and teaching weight training and in this period I have come across so many people who do not want to workout in a gym, but follow a simple exercise regimen at home or their workplace. There are also others who are active in other sports and see weight training as a waste of time. This site is for all those who have doubts about exercise and related topics such as diet. You do not have to be a gym afficionado to get in touch with us. Myself and a group of doctors are always there to assist you with any queries regarding any form of exercise, diet, heath problems. Also, this site provides you with an opportunity to publish your own experiences, experiments, contact other interested people in this field, and even answer some questions yourself, if you so desire.

    QUESTIONS
I weigh 142kgs, 180cms tall and have just joined an international gym. im CA by profession and work with a top company in the middleeast, due to which my life is become very lethargic.I stay away from home so eat outside in the restaurants. please advise me diet and workout session which i could do without much hassle.My schedule is as follows my office is from 8am- 730pm.i wake up by 7am and reach office by 8am.the breakfast is usually a cheese sandwich or egg sandwich, bottled juice and 1 banana later. Lunch time is at 1pm and i eat from restaurants. Tea break is as and when i want.I go to sleep by 12-1am. I’m a non vegetarian, a keralite and dont have any other complication including hormonal.I smoke and drink generally whisky, I have been heavy my whole life and would want to put an end to it but unaware how to do i go about it. Please suggest me a feasible plan which someone like me could follow.My gym is really big and has all the facilities you could imagine.Someone told me i should do cardio and weight training alternate days to lose better and faster. Please suggest me the best workout program and diet which would help me achieve my ideal weight. Please also tell me what should be my ideal weight.
